I go through fazes of either training better in a gym or training better in my own home. Currently, due to work commitments, I find it easier to fit in a good workout in my own home.

This barbell is really helping me develop a good fitness routine in my own living room. It's smaller size is a great space saver without compromising on quality. I find it great for doing some daily compound lifting in the morning to start my day!

The bar itself has a great weight to it and doesn't feel cheap in any way. Also, if it's any interest to anyone, It also doesn't feel too rough on my palms.

With this bar you will definitely have to invest in some olympic plates due to the size of the sleeve, which might get a little pricey in today economy. However, if you can afford the plates or already have some lying around, this bar can make a world of difference to your own home fitness routine!

I had been trying to do various exercises like bicep curls using a full length straight barbell but it is cumbersome and you cannot get a good range of motion when gripping a straight bar (for curls anyway). I finally decided I would treat myself to this bar when it was on offer and after having some initial reservations (I have way too much training kit that does not get used) I am pleased that I bough it. If you work out at home regularly then it is worth investing in a barbell like this as it really makes your workout more pleasant (if thats possible - you get my point I hope). It is a solid piece of equipment and will hopefully last years if looked after.
