Decent Pedal Exerciser C Easy to Use But Not Perfect

The media could not be loaded.

This is a decent pedal exerciser, but not for anyone who is hoping for a sweat inducing workout. It does help work the ankles and legs though. There are some good features, but also some design flaws that are not so great.Good:??This exerciser is very easy to use, pretty much plug and play.??It comes with a remote control which makes it easy to control the different settings and features.??The exerciser comes with different difficulty and workout settings.??This can be used while watching tv, or sitting at the desk.Bad:??The exerciser has a very short cable, so you need to be close to a power point (or use an extension cable).??The pedals are at an awkward angle, and not exactly comfortable to use.??Can only be used while seated.??Kind of bulky, not easy to tuck away or tote around if desired.Overall, this is a decent pedal style exerciser. It is good for use as a casual exerciser while watching tv, or working at a desk, as well as for anyone with mobility issues. In fact, it would be a great way of working out the legs for anyone with mobility issues as well as for the elderly, because it doesn't require standing or put any pressure on the joints.

Works as intended

Comfortable, has a few speeds. You can't stand up on it. It warns you against that for risk on injury. Perfect for rehabilitation and for improved blood flow.I find it's a bit bulky, moving it can be a pain so it's better to have a section in the house where it lives. That way it has more ease of use.Overall good.

The foot massager is uncomfortable,

Day two, says use bare feet for massage,i say wear trainers, very uncomfortable, weather this machine is any good i shall update when used more, works well.

Well built but short cable and heavy

This machine is heavy! It is one that needs to stay in one place as its weight stops it from being easily relocated. It needs to be plugged into the mains too, with a quite short lead you may need an extension cable to be able to use it, or have a seat near a socket! The foot pedals are hard plastic, so not really massaging (I needed to wear trainers to use) but it does a reasonable job of keeping the circulation going.

Not good on carpets as it creeps forward when in use

Don't use this on carpet as it cannot grip carpet and creeps forward with every step which means you have to keep pulling it back. It does hold its place better on hard floor thoughShoes are also a must when using this as the nobbles on the foot peddles are quite big and I found them exceedingly sharp and uncomfortable without shoes.I also found the angle with which my lower body is inline with my upper body when peddling is quite an unnatural position. My legs are too far forward for peddling, even when the unit is backed up to the chair. My lower half should be more inline with that when riding a bicycle - pointing downwards not forwards. This position puts pressure on my lower back causing it to acheIve tried different chairs and found higher seated dinning style chairs with a gap between the legs so as to place the peddle machine further back for better body alignment ( although it's not perfect), to be the better result.I think it's a good idea but the design needs work as it puts a strain on joints in its current design due to unatural body position when peddling

Maintains mobility, low impact, easy to use, great for building strength stability and confidence.

I ordered this for my Mum who is 88 years old and has been unwell and off her feet after a fall. Now she's recovering, it's important to maintain her mobility, and this is a perfect solution which she can customise as she gets stronger. My Mum says it's really easy to become sedentary at her age and this step machine keeps her moving. It's comfortable to use and low impact, working at intensities that she finds manageable to improve her leg muscles, her coordination and her confidence. There's some preset modes and she can also input her own preferences and make adjustments easily. The machine is quiet and she can easily move it herself from room to room. It's going to be perfect for when she finally gets her knee replacement, and she seems much more positive and hopeful about her recovery. The remote is brilliant for her. It saves her from being in pain through bending down to change her settings, and it's very convenient.Overall I'm delighted with it.It seems very well made, it's simple to use anywhere and it's very quiet. In my opinion it's a great value for money, and works perfectly.I would definitely recommend it.I hope you find my review helpful.

After struggling to exercise following an accident breaking my femur and then having a compound fracture, I never thought I would get so much pleasure from sitting down and pedalling away. Many exercise products make claims about their ease of use and then when they arrive you are left feeling disappointed and frustrated. It was easy to set up, but quite heavy so someone with impaired strength will need help to move it. I love the design of this piece of equipment. I really feel this is going to strengthen the muscles in my thigh. Although I have only just got this pedal machine, already I feel as if it is going to be invaluable to me. This machine moves both of the legs in such a way that it will unquestionably have benefits to circulation and muscle tone. I can watch my favourite programme on TV while my legs are being exercised. The machine comes with a remote control and has different modes to suit your needs. Honestly, makes doing exercise both possible and quite fun. I'd recommend it.

Such a godsend. I've broken my left ankle twice. In 3 different places over all. I'm only 40. But I find increasingly its stiff and gets a bit heavy and dense by end of day.I'm an office worker and if I work from home I'm stuck sitting for long periods. This really helps ease my ankle stiffness without actually having to do anything. I'm not out of breath on calls from being on a treadmill etc. You don't have to put any effort in at all. Just place your feet on. Choose your speed and direction. And off it goes. For me it's great, it helps my knees and ankles keep moving, without the muscle strain. Perfect for those with mobility issues to keep some flexibility. It's over 7kg. For me, it's not very heavy, has a carry handle. But I can imagine that's still quite heavy for some elderly. It has a remote which us super helpful. My only really downside is that the power cable is on the short side. Could do with much longer to reach around an armchair etc.Overall I think its a great piece of kit. Very easy to use multiple times a day, low impact, just keeps those joints moving.

A very good buy
Very easy to use

Does not strain your leg muscles, you have 3sets for legs and circulation which are pretty set for 30mins.But you can also use your own preference of time or exercise it is very versatile. The I like it a lot.

I ordered this because of a knee injury. As I couldn't walk anywhere, this has been so useful. Started off with 5 minutes at a time every other day. Love using this when I can't get out becuase of bad weather.
