These are perfect for my needs. I already have some hex weights for general workouts, but I wanted something lighter to use for additional resistance while doing sit-ups.The listing description is a little bit misleading as far as the weight levels go. The weights are in lbs, rather than kg, and each additional weight is 0.5 lbs. Therefore, although listed as 2 x 2.5 kg when complete, it is actually 2 x 5 lbs, which is slightly over 2.25 kg, so around 0.25 kg less than stated. That said, I weighed these on my bathroom scales, and they are exactly true to weight, each coming in at 5 lbs on the dot.The weights clip on and off very quickly and easily, with a brief twist. They feel very secure once on, and obviously take up a lot less space than having a separate pair of dumbbells for each weight level. They're a stylish and convenient option for your home gym.
These are fantastic when you’re in need of lighter weights. They fit comfortably in your hand and I love how easy it is to add weight.
Not everyone wants to drag their butt to a gym. And my days of doing upper body work with cans of beets (yep, it's a thing) are over. So these weights worked perfectly. I like the ease of removing the supplemental weights. They are magnetic so attaching them is easy. The base dumbbell itself fits nicely in my hands (some are two big, these are easy to hold).I also like the fact that they are vinyl coated so they aren't cold like metal. Great set for the price as the flexibility to keep increasing the weight will ensure they have a long and useful life!
Easy to work out
I started off with these when I first started working out and they’re perfect. Easy to switch out and never fell apart during workouts. I need higher weights now but they served their purpose in the beginning.
