1. Do 20kg and 36kg refer to each dumbbell or the pair combined?

They refer to the maximum fully assembled weight of each dumbbell, including the handle, locking nuts and supplied plates. A Single option includes one dumbbell; a Pair option includes two dumbbells of the selected weight.

2. What is included with the Single and Pair options?

A Single option includes one complete dumbbell. A Pair option includes two complete matching dumbbells. Each dumbbell includes one handle, two locking nuts and the corresponding weight plates.

3. What weight plate sizes are included?

The dumbbell uses 0.5kg, 1kg and 2kg plates for gradual weight adjustment. Always load matching plates evenly on both sides.

4. How are the weight plates secured?

The plates are secured with threaded locking nuts and spring-loaded latch pins. Tighten both locks fully and check that each latch is engaged before use.

5. Can the dumbbells be dropped?

XDB has undergone a real 3-metre drop test and remained functional after impact, although cosmetic wear may occur. It is designed to withstand demanding training use, but should still be lowered under control and is not intended for repeated or deliberate dropping.

6. How easy is it to change the weight?

The plate-loaded design makes it straightforward to add or remove weight between exercises. Paired 0.5kg, 1kg and 2kg plates support a minimum 1kg total adjustment, allowing for gradual progression.

7. Which should I choose: 20kg or 36kg?

Choose the 20kg option if 20kg per dumbbell covers your current training needs. Choose the 36kg option if you want more room to progress into heavier exercises over time. Both options use the same plate-loaded adjustment system.

8. Will the dumbbells roll on the floor?

The octagonal plate design with flat edges helps reduce rolling and keeps the dumbbells more stable on level surfaces between sets.

9. Is the dumbbell made from metal?

Yes. The dumbbell features an all-metal construction, including a knurled metal handle and metal weight plates, giving it a solid, durable feel for regular strength training.

10. When will the 36kg dumbbells be available?

Pre-orders for the 36kg version are expected to open in mid-October. Dispatch is planned from late October, with deliveries expected throughout November. Timings are estimated and may be subject to change.
